ACTA is opposed to this move, as is the Government of Alberta, the Owner-Operator Business Association of Canada and the Private Motor Truck Council of Canada. ACTA has sent a letter to the Alberta Minister of Infrastructure and Transportation (Download PDF) to confirm this stance and offer to participate in any industry discussions on the matter.
